The list, presented alphabetically, was compiled based on search volume and high user ratings. It serves as a travel inspiration for those looking for fresh and trendy experiences for their upcoming trips.

The airport has been praised for its quiet rest areas, fully equipped spa rooms, and dedicated children’s play areas located near each departure gate in the international terminal. It features 34 retail outlets, including a large duty-free store, and 15 restaurants and cafes, all of which contribute to a more relaxing and enjoyable waiting experience. Several restaurants at the airport cater to the tastes of Korean and Chinese travelers – the top two international visitor groups to Vietnam in 2024.

Additionally, the airport offers a prayer room for Muslim passengers – a facility not yet widely available at airports worldwide. The airport’s design draws inspiration from the cultural heritage of Da Nang and Hoi An, incorporating motifs such as lanterns and sea waves. Its decorations change seasonally for special occasions like Halloween, Christmas, and Lunar New Year.

In 2024, Da Nang International Airport was listed among the world’s top 100 airports by Skytrax, with its international terminal receiving a 5-star rating – the highest possible score.

According to Booking.com’s 2025 travel trend report, the era of rushed airport visits is coming to an end. Today, travelers are increasingly excited to explore premium services and entertainment at airports. Waiting for a flight is now considered an integral part of the travel journey.
